Wide Bass Tutorial

Summary

In this tutorial I will show you how to make your bass sound wide over the stereo image by layering 2 bass sounds together. One in the lower register - the bass region (40 Hz - 250 Hz) which will stay mono, and one in the upper register - mid and treble region (250 Hz - 20 kHz) which will be panned and phase shifted.

Hello!

My name is Andro, and I'm a homeroom producer, and a member of a band called Syntax Project together with two more people. Most of my production is based around psychedellic trance.

I started this blog to help people make Psytrance, Goa and Full on electronic music. I've got two videos posted on Youtube already, but as its much harder (atleast for me) to make a video tutorial than writing one, so making a blog seemed like a good idea.

And yes, there are some other good sites with tutorials on music production, but they cover a wide range of genres, while I am hoping to keep it more or less on topic of psytrance.
